Back in May I replaced my Taylor 615CE with a Taylor 814CE. I bought the 814CE brand new from a major guitar store in Texas. I loved the guitar since the first moment I played it. All was well until a week or so ago…
While playing during worship, my guitar started cutting in and out. This thing sounded like someone was trying to tune in an AM radio station. At first, I thought it was my Guitar Bug, but sadly learned that it was the electronics in my 3 month old guitar! Yikes. So I called Taylor Guitars and spoke with Customer Service Dude. (Taylor Guitars is known for their EXCELLENT customer service). He told me to bring it in and they would fix it free of charge and even give me some freebies on the way. I’m stoked to hopefully be getting a brand new set of electronics in my guitar! The sad thing is that I hate being without. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got a Taylor T5 that competes with the 814CE, but it’s just not the same.
While my guitar gently weeps, I will anxiously wait by the phone for the call to come pick her up.
- I look at the trouble and see that it’s raging,
- While my guitar gently weeps.
- As I’m sitting here, doing nothing but aging,
- Still, my guitar gently weeps.
